PEACHY KEEN
During my 2 weeks in quarantine, I had a lot of extra time stuck in my apartment to dream of sunshine on my face, fresh air and summer vibes. It got to the point where I decided that the first thing I would do post-quarantine was run to the Union Square greenmarket, tote in hand, and get fresh produce and flowers for the week. This tote from Joseph and Stacey was perfect just for that. I was able to conceptualize this little product shoot in my cramped bedroom as I waited for my day of freedom to showcase what I love about the bag while playing off the color name, “burnt peach.”
Sometimes you come across products that are so well-designed that they’re inspiring. The Lucky Pleats Knit collection showcases gorgeous lines from the accordion folds and box knit texture of the soft, stretchy fabric. You can stuff quite a bit inside, but the bag still retains its shape when full. My favorite detail is the ties that you can use to pinch the top closed or leave dangling/in a bow to leave the top open, or to hold the folded up bag in its slim profile to carry around when unfilled. The folded up version of the bag is incredibly compact and convenient, and takes up little space compared to some other totes I’ve had to schlep uptown with me to the grocery store. The best part of this bag? It’s machine washable, so I didn’t have to worry about smushed peach juice or dirty water dripping from the stems of my flowers ruining the bag. Practical, stylish and perfect for everyday use!
