DAY TRIP: ANNAPOLIS

While in Baltimore for a college friend’s wedding, a few of us reunited and took a quick day trip to the quaint and charming city of Annapolis for the day. Here’s how we spent our time.

11 AM | Vida Taco Bar
A fantastic place to fuel up for the day with a large variety of tacos. Still dreaming of those scallop tacos, hands down the best taco of the bunch and definitely one of the best I’ve ever had.

12:30 PM | KA-CHUNK!! Records
A vintage record store with old arcade games inside. The store is located on Maryland Ave, which is right next to the capital building and there are a lot of cute boutiques and shops on this street.

1 PM | Old Fox Books
The neighborhood book store you’ve always dreamed of having to replace the sterile Barnes & Nobles in your suburb (I still love you, B&N). Lots of trinkets and different areas to explore, and a coffee shop in the back to grab an espresso before settling in to while away an afternoon with a book on the patio.

2 PM | US Naval Academy
Explore the grounds of the US Naval Academy, which is expansive and beautiful to roam through. The visitor center is located next to a small admissions museum with history and maps that will lead you to gems like the chapel and Bancroft Hall.

4 PM | Annapolis Ice Cream Co
End your sweet visit with a sweet scoop of ice cream. Massive portions and a wall full of flavors to trigger paradox of choice.
